Floods and rainbows

Heavy rains once again took Lanzarote by surprise yesterday , rendering some roads unpassable and flooding several streets in the capital Arrecife.

Remembering the Cruz del Mar

This weekend saw the 42nd anniversary of the Cruz del Mar massacre, when seven fishermen from the fishing barrio of Valterra were murdered on their fishing boat by unidentified assailants.
