The storm warning of a couple of weeks ago didn’t amount to much more than a few spots of rain, but tomorrow looks a lot more likely to bring the rain.
The tail end of Storm Bárbara, a weather system recently baptised by Spain’s meteorological agency, AEMET, will lash the Canaries tomorrow and Wednesday, affecting the western islands more than the eastern islands.
Yellow warnings have been issued for Gran Canaria and all islands west of it, while AEMET predict the possibility of rain on Lanzarote as up to 55% in Yaiza tomorrow afternoon and 80% in Yaiza on Wednesday afternoon.
