The charity foundation Flora Acoge will be holding a fundraising Jazz and Bossa Nova concert at the Atlantida Cinema in Arrecife (in the Charco) this Saturday at 6:30pm.
All the proceeds from the ticket purchases will go directly to the foundation to help continue their efforts to help the homeless which includes providing food, support, facilities and more.
The foundation was registered in 2016, although the previous association had existed since the start of the century. Read our 2021 interview with the foundation’s director, Montserrat González.
THE CONCERT
The event features a program of artists and broadly covers the Jazz and Bossa Nova genres.
The artists attending: Casual Combo Big Band, Carmelo Santana, Ruben Armas, Francois Pageau, Karina Lacourtois, Nino Gonzalez, Juli Helliwell, Fabio Della Monica, Jose Luis Sanchez, Sonir Hernandez, Luis Garrido, Juanma Mendoza, Vincente Corujo, Julia Sosa, Angie San Esteban, and Ale Franquis.
