The CACT have announced that it will host the premiere of the documentary “Memoria Indígena” on the 26th of this month in the Jameos del Agua.

“Memoria Indígena” is an investigative documentary that shows the features and techniques of the indigenous Canarian world and its survival over the years.
Directed by Antonio Bonny and Pablo Rodríguez, the documentary is divided into chapters that cover ancestral Canarian traditions such as shepherding, agriculture, salt collection, pottery and basketry to name a few.
CACT CEO, Benjamín Perdomo, encourages the public “to enjoy this unique opportunity to dive into the roots of the archipelago and discover how some of the most deeply-rooted traditions of our identity have evolved.”.
