The opening presentation for Yaiza’s Carnival was scheduled to take place yesterday at 7.30pm but was postponed due to adverse weather conditions.

Due to high winds and unpredictable weather, the opening Gala for this year’s Carnival in Yaiza was suspended until further notice. Two groups were set to perform on the night, “Los Yaiseros” and “Los Timanfeiros”.
The Yaiza Ayuntamiento are working to reschedule the event as soon as possible and will notify residents on their website when a new date has been set.
Fortunately, the event was free to attend with prior booking needed through the EcoEntradas website. If you had reserved your place through EcoEntradas then you will have received an email or text via WhatsApp regarding the cancellation.
