Cabildo President, María Dolores Corujo, accompanied by the Mayor of Tías, José Juan Cruz, visited the ongoing road resurfacing works in Puerto del Carmen yesterday.

Accompanied by the Mayor of Tías, José Juan Cruz, and the Public Works Councillor, Alfredo Mendoza, Corujo was able to see the road resurfacing work first-hand, which began on June 6th and are part of the Lanzarote Cabildo’s Municipal Cooperation.
Corujo expressed her satisfaction “that the projects of the plan are materialising and helping to modernise and repair the Island’s infrastructure.”.
“This work encourages us to strengthen our collaboration with the Ayuntamiento’s and to continue helping with the financing of projects that improve the lives of the citizens”, said Corujo.
Mayor of Tías, José Juan Cruz, stated that “the residents of Calle Princesa Ico finally have a street in good condition. This project has been necessary for years and now we can say that we have improved the street.”.
