AEMET have issued two yellow weather warnings which will activate today and will remain active until at least Wednesday.
Today, AEMET will activate a yellow WIND warning from 9pm which will remain active on Lanzarote until at least 5pm Wednesday. Expect to see wind speeds of up to 70km/h.
From Tuesday this week, in conjunction with the active wind warning, AEMET will active a yellow COASTAL warning from 8pm which will remain active until at least 7am Wednesday morning. Expect to see waves of up to 4m especially in the North of the island.
They also forecast that the very warm temperatures seen this weekend are going to fall this week.
Both warnings are subject to extensions, and we will keep you updated on those.
