Pancho Ortiz, a resident of Yaiza who is known as a handyman and for his ability for arts & crafts, was visited by the Yaiza Mayor and Cabildo President. His new art exhibition is open to the public until the 18th of September.

The Mayor of Yaiza, Óscar Noda, and the President of the Cabildo, María Dolores Corujo, visited the opening of Pancho Ortiz’ new art exhibition which is now open until next Sunday (September 18th).
Ortiz is a Yaiza resident who is well known for being a handyman, and his ability for arts and crafts. Pancho designs and creates salt carpets, artistic installations and more – all of which can be seen at his exhibition in the Casa de la Cultura Benito Pérez Armas.
It will be open to the public until Sunday the 18th of September, between the hours of 3pm – 9pm on weekdays.
Óscar Noda encourages all to visit the exhibition “Lámparas y muebles”, which “shows one of the many creative facets of our resident Pancho, a much-loved artist in Yaiza who also knows how to make good use of recycled materials.”.
