Vox calls for Arrecife to control electric scooters

Vox spokesman, Eugenio Hernández, has called for Arrecife to “finally control” the electric scooters.

Hernández has stated that “walking around Arrecife in certain areas is becoming a real odyssey.”

“Not too long ago it was some people who went at full throttle with bicycles in places as busy as Calle Real, now we see that the phenomenon is worse, since it happens with some individuals who do it with a motor, with the well-known and dangerous scooters,” he added.

Hernández stated that he will demand for “greater control and surveillance” and even the prohibition of scooters in certain areas in the next plenary session.
