The Tías Ayuntamiento have announced that they will be resurfacing five streets in Puerto del Carmen that show signs of significant wear.
Five streets in Puerto del Carmen, that have deteriorated over a period of time, will be resurfaced next week with a new layer of asphalt. The Mayor of Tías, José Juan Cruz, wishes to apologise to residents for any inconvenience that the works may cause as the streets will be closed when being resurfaced.
The streets in question are Calle(s) Rompimiento, Laja, El Toscón, Piedra Negra and Punta del Barquillo.
The works are expected to be completed by next week and will consist of filling in any cracks, potholes and a resurfacing.
