Puerto del Carmen’s first ever Music Night Run was a huge success last Saturday and saw 600 people take part in the race.
The night race started at 8pm last Saturday, April 13th, from the Plaza de las Naciones to Matagorda. Tias Ayuntamiento are overjoyed with the response to the first ever night race, with 600 participants of different ages and 20 volunteers.
The space had six light stages and music and performances by DJs Ángel Pérez, Alex Osorio, Elvis and Adrián, as well as performances from dance school Báilame, Fernando Petit’s zumba and the rhythm of the trio Swing del Norte.
The winners of the 7 km race were David Morales (22’50”), Pablo López, Akoran Rodríguez, Roberto Rojo and Javier López. The winners in the 4-kilometer course were Hugo Pérez (13’57”), Darío Guadalupe, Gustavo Vicente, David Expósito and Asier Sosa. And the first of the 1.6 kilometers were Hugo Pérez (06’11”), Daniel Gude, Daniel Guerra, Aduén Merino and Cristina Capitán.
