Óscar Noda asks Cabildo for LZ-1 improvements

Óscar Noda has asked the Cabildo for improvements in the LZ-1 main road from Arrecife to Órzola in order to “protect the safety of citizens.”

Noda made the request in his capacity as an opposition councillor on the Cabildo and has called for improvements to the 10 – 14 km stretch of the LZ1, from the Guatiza turn-off to Mala.

He claims that the accident rate on this stretch of road in recent years qualifies it as a “black spot”, requiring immediate attention. ”The population growth on the island and the record numbers of tourists mean that this project is more than necessary,” said Noda.
