Playa Blanca was filled with Christmas magic on Christmas Eve as Santa Claus made his traditional joyful parade down Calle Limones.
Dozens of families turned out in force to welcome the bearded visitor, who was accompanied by music, elves, stilt walkers, and a host of fantastic characters. The lively procession culminated in the traditional photo session beside the Christmas tree in the centre of town.
The event has become a beloved tradition for both locals and tourists visiting Lanzarote. Smiles and expressions of happiness were captured in photos and videos as the community came together for this festive gathering.
New Year’s Eve Festivities Announced
The Yaiza Town Council invites the people of Lanzarote to continue celebrating the festive season with its upcoming New Year’s Eve events.
The festivities begin on 31st December at noon in the Plaza de los Remedios in Yaiza, with a party featuring performances by the groups Vocal Force and Swing del Norte.
Later, Playa Blanca will host the ‘Último Atardecer’ party from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The event promises a stellar performance by Juseph and a lineup of urban music featuring Wos Las Palmas, DJ Evando Moreira, and Ale Ossorio DJ.
