Teguise’s Noche Blanca will now take place on July 28th, it has been confirmed by the newly inaugurated Ayuntamiento of Teguise.
The Noche Blanca (White Night) is a popular event that promotes art, culture and commerce in the old town of Teguise. Named because participants are requested to wear white, it brings thew whole town to life for a night, with live music, food, drink and many other attractions.
Originally it was thought that a suitable date would not be available until autumn, but now the date has been confirmed as Friday July 28th.
This will mark a busy period for La Villa, which celebrates its Romeria de las Nieves, when locals head to the highest church on the island, just over a week later on 5th August. Gazette Life will also be running a special feature on Teguise in August.
