A 17-year-old motorcyclist has been flown to the Dr Negrin Hospital in Gran Canaria after suffering a serious head injury in a collision with another bike.
The incident took place at 4.30 on Saturday morning on the Via Medular (inner ring-road) in Arrecife. Emergency services first took the youngster to Arrecife’s hospital, from where he was later airlifted by helicopter to Gran Canaria.
