The Lanzarote Data Centre have just released tourism figures for July this year.
The Centro de Datos is a great source for all things Lanzarote data, and they have just published July 2022’s tourism numbers.
The figures are looking good and every category has recorded an increase on the month previous, most notably the UK, Spain, Belgium, France, Netherlands and the Nordic countries – the total number of tourists has increased by 15% compared to the month previous.
July 2022 falls just short of July 2019’s total number of visitors.
The tourist figures for July 2022 are as follows:
Spain – 43,639
Germany – 17,320
Belgium – 6,856
France – 16,372
Netherlands – 31,599
Ireland – 8,290
Italy – 6,566
Nordic Countries – 4,532
United Kingdom – 121,039
Other – 9,789
TOTAL – 266,002
July 2019 figures in comparison with July 2022 figures:
Spain – 41,347 (-5% less than in July 22′)
Germany – 22,228 (+28% more than in July 22′)
Belgium – 6,280 (-8% less than in July 22′)
France – 14,413 (-11% less than in July 22′)
Netherlands – 8,590 (-72% less than in July 22′)
Ireland – 37,990 (+358% more than in July 22′)
Italy – 5,734 (-12% less than in July 22′)
Nordic Countries – 3,096 (-31% less than in July 22′)
United Kingdom – 117,586 (-2% less than in July 22′)
Other – 13,175 (+34% more than in July 22′)
TOTAL – 270,438
