Firefighters came to the aid of a 24-year-old yesterday, after she had fallen in the Barranco del Quíquere, in Puerto del Carmen, and hit her head.
Yesterday at approximately 4:30pm, emergency services were alerted to an incident in which a 24-year-old woman had suffered a fall in the Barranco del Quíquere, in Puerto del Carmen.
The young woman experienced dizziness when trying to stand up and had fallen over, hitting her head on the ground.
Upon arrival the emergency services transported her onto an ambulance, and she was taken to the health centre in Tías.
