Last Saturday, Arrecife police recorded a driver going 119 km/h in a 40 km/h zone.
The driver, who was caught on a speed camera, is currently being investigated for exceeding the speed limit. The vehicle belongs to a car rental company, who were able to provide the details of the current owner.
The driver lives in Yaiza and, with the help of Yaiza police, has been identified at their home and is now awaiting the following legal proceedings.
