17-year-old scooter victim dies

The 17-year-old youth who was knocked over while riding his scooter in Mácher last Thursday has died of his injuries.

The boy was admitted to intensive care with a serious head injury but is reported to have died 24 hours after admission. 

The Cabildo’s Welfare Councillor, Marci Acuña, has stated that the victim was an unaccompanied minor who had been living at the Casa Hogar de Mácher. “He was integrated and already working,” said Acuña.
