The municipal football pitch in Altavista is set to undergo a 1.1-million-euro facelift which will transform the site.
The Arrecife Ayuntamiento has awarded two companies the contract to refurbish the Altavista municipal football pitch, with a budget of 1,164,217.36 euros.
Included in the refurbishments is the installation of covers for the stands, total renovation of the pitch, an irrigation system, and miscellaneous electrical installations.
The Mayor of Arrecife, Astrid Pérez, stated that “the ambitious project meets the demands of football teams in the municipality as we continue with our objective of improving the sports facilities in Arrecife so that sports people and fans can enjoy it in comfort and with modern facilities.”.
Arrecife’s Sports Councillor, Rosmen Quevedo, added “the improvement of sports facilities in the municipality is a priority in which we will continue to put all our efforts into.”.
The companies will have a period of 150 days to complete the works.
