Local fire fighters rescued a hiker on Montaña Roja in Playa Blanca yesterday afternoon.
At approximately noon yesterday afternoon, the emergency services were alerted to an injured hiker on Montaña Roja.
Upon arrival, the fire fighters found that the hiker had suffered a fractured ankle. She was later moved onto a stretch and taken to the Doctor José Molina Orosa hospital in Arrecife.
