Last Saturday, residents and visitors gathered in Yaiza to enjoy the Patron Saint activities – a day full of excitement and enthusiasm after two years of Covid postponements.

The pilgrimage for the Patron Saint, the Virgen de Los Remedios, was celebrated in Yaiza last Saturday. Residents and visitors gathered to celebrate and enjoy the day together with the beautiful surroundings of the white houses and stunning volcanoes.
The pilgrimage route featured decorated animal-drawn cards and camels from Uga as the streets were lined with multicoloured rosettes.
