The Arrecife Ayuntamiento will carry out routine cleaning on December 25th, January 1st, 5th and 6th to ensure that the City remains clean and litter, as the result of festive celebrations, is removed.
Arrecife will aim to cut down on extra rubbished, created by festive celebrations, this Christmas and New Years.
Mayor of Arrecife, Astrid Pérez, stated “keeping the city clean is our duty and the duty of those who live in Arrecife.”
Councillor, Roberto Herbón, added “We have organised the cleaning and rubbish collection in response to the demands during the Christmas and New Years period, as there are more residents which visit the city and create more waste during celebrations.”
Between Christmas day and Three Kings there will be 9 workers and two street cleaner vehicle drivers who will routinely work their way through the city.
