Spain’s Meteorological Agency has issued a yellow weather warning for strong winds across Lanzarote this Sunday. This alert comes in addition to an existing warning for large waves.

The wind warning is active from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, with forecasts predicting powerful gusts potentially reaching 80 kilometres per hour.

Furthermore, a separate yellow warning for coastal phenomena remains in effect. This alert will activate at 4:00 p.m. today and will continue throughout Sunday. During this period, wave heights could reach up to four metres in affected areas.

Residents and visitors are advised to exercise caution, especially near exposed coastal locations and during any travel plans on Sunday.
