The Yaiza Ayuntamiento have completed their asphalting project, which saw the asphalting of 33 locations.
Since the start of this year, the Yaiza Ayuntamiento have been tackling problem roads throughout the municipality. The Ayuntamiento, led by Mayor Óscar Noda, have been busy tackling numerous projects in Playa Blanca from asphalting to the construction of new parks and large sports facility.
Noda stated that “the [asphalting] project includes the resurfacing of streets, replacing signage, as well as works on the pavements, accessibility for the disabled, pedestrian crossing and speed bumps. All of this to improve the safety of our drivers and pedestrians.”.
The project has been entirely financed by the Yaiza Ayuntamiento, with an investment of one million euros.
