Yaiza Ayuntamiento has launched this year’s carnival poster, with the theme for this year’s celebrations being “The Environment”.
The winning design, and recipient of a €1,500 prize, was by Rubén Lucas García, a Murcia-based graphic designer who appears to have a rather successful business in designing carnival posters. He was also the artist chosen as the winner of Tías’s competition a couple of weeks ago.
The carnival in Yaiza will take place from 16th to 19th March, with the big parade in Playa Blanca presumably taking place on Saturday 18th March.
