A 42-year-old man was seriously injured yesterday after getting trapped in a service lift in an Arrecife shop.
The incident occurred just after midday at one of the furniture stores on the C/Oceano Atlántico, the commercial zone where Lidl and IKEA are located.
When emergency services arrived, the man had been removed from the lift and was being given first aid. He was immediately rushed to the Dr José Molina Orosa Hospital.
