Woman dies after fall in Arrecife

A woman in her 40s has tragically died after falling from the fourth floor of a building on Calle Fajardo in Arrecife yesterday afternoon.

According to reports, the emergency services were alerted to the fall at 12:50pm yesterday afternoon. Upon arrival the emergency staff at the scene transferred the woman to an ambulance where she was then taken to the Dr Jose Molina Orosa hospital in Arrecife for further treatment.

The woman arrived at the hospital in a serious condition and, despite the best efforts of the medical team, passed away shortly after.
