Water cuts across Lanzarote

Canal Gestión, the company in charge of Lanzarote’s water management, have reported water cuts across several municipalities on Lanzarote today.

Among areas reported to be affected by the cuts are Haría, Mala, Tahíche, Los Valles, Charco del Palo, Los Cocoteros, Güíme, Tías, and Las Breñas.

Canal Gestión reports that there are “other incidents due to small breakdowns and programmed manoeuvres” that may cause alterations in the supply of specific streets.

This new round of water shortages come after the company announced that of 29.49 million cubic metres of water produced in 2023, over 54% of it was lost.
