The Tías local police held an open day for the children at the colegio Alcalde Rafael Cedrés to teach the students about safety, meet Tequila the police dog, and give a tour of the vehicles.
The young students enjoyed an interactive activity where they got the chance to ask the policemen about their job and how the sirens work. They were shown the various police vehicles and were taught to always call 112 in case of an emergency.
They were able to get up close and personal with the emergency vehicles like ambulances, police cars, motorbikes and vans.
Tías Education Councillor, Tomás Silvera, accompanied the group for the demonstration of local police dog Tequila, who showed off her training.
