The circus is here on Lanzarote

The days when people flocked to see a few miserable lions and elephants being put through their paces when the circus arrived are long gone.

Nowadays, circuses focus on spectacle, acrobatics and an immersive experience rather than unhappy animals, and the arrival of the Extreme circus in Arrecife is a great example.

The experience is said to be “like entering a video game”, with acrobats, lasers and drones. With tickets ranging from €11 to €24, it’s also affordable.
