The Spanish Air Force’s Acrobatic Parachute Patrol will leap into the blue skies above Costa Teguise at Saturday lunchtime as part of a display to celebrate the resort’s 50th birthday.
On Friday, the carpark at Playa de los Charcos in Costa Teguise will host an Air Force exhibition featuring flight simulators and other equipment. At 8pm that evening, the Canarian Air Command’s Music Unit will give a free concert at the Convento de San Domingo in La Villa de Teguise.
On Saturday the exhibition will continue, and be joined by a Search And Rescue helicopter. From 11:45am, this helicopter will take part in a simulated rescue in the waters off Playa Cucharas, and 12 parachutists will leap from a C212 aircraft, landing on the beach.
