ADISLAN, Lanzarote’s Association for the Disabled, is seeking new members.

The association, which supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families, was founded over 55 years ago, and is one of the most respected charities on the island.

The membership drive will help ADISLAN to achieve its aims, which include:

• Improving direct care and support for people with intellectual disabilities.
• Developing projects to support families and caregivers.
• Promoting inclusive, cultural, and educational activities.
• Acquiring resources and materials that promote independence and participation.
• Designing awareness and rights advocacy initiatives in the community.
• Strengthening programs that seek a full, active life with opportunities for all people.

The association says “Each member contributes much more than a fee: they contribute opportunities, resources, and support that help advance towards a more inclusive and just society.”

The minimum annual membership fee is €120, which can be paid monthly, quarterly, twice-yearly or annually. You can join at https://adislan.com/formulario-hazte-socio/
