Three shops in Puerto del Carmen are being investigated for selling counterfeit products after multiple legal teams submit formal complaints to the PAFIF (Tax and Border Patrol) of Costa Teguise.
In a report by Lancelot, on April 4th three shop owners are being investigated for allegedly selling counterfeit clothes and other miscellaneous items in Puerto del Carmen.
After having received multiple formal complaints from legal teams the PAFIF began investigating the establishments which resulted in the identification of three shops selling counterfeit clothing accessories.
The investigations resulted in the confiscation of more than 1100 products which included luxury bags and football shirts. The total market value of the confiscated products is calculated to be as high as 226,000 euros.
