Puerto del Carmen – Puerto Calero road closed

The LZ-506 road connecting Puerto del Carmen and Puerto Calero will close today for approximately three weeks.

The closure will allow the road to be resurfaced, a project that will cost €700,000.

In the meantime, motorists are advised to use the alternative route via Mácher and the main LZ-2 road, which adds 5 kilometres to the journey.

Cabildo Public Works Councillor Jacobo Medina said “We thank residents, businesses, and motorists for their patience and cooperation during these three weeks. We are working to minimise disruptions and complete the work as quickly as possible.”
