Jonnie Irwin, the A Place In The Sun TV presenter, has died of lung cancer at the age of 50.
Irwin worked on the BBC’s property show for more than 18 years and came to Lanzarote several times to film episodes during that time.
Irwin made his terminal illness public in 2020. His death has caused an outpouring of grief from colleagues, including co-presenter Jasmine Harman, who posted a tribute saying, “The world is a little darker today without you, but I will always smile when I think of you.”
Irwin leaves a wife, Jessica, and three young sons .
