A patera arrived at Las Caletas earlier this morning, undetected by Air Sea Rescue.
The Zodiac inflatable put ashore in the shallow bay between Las Caletas and the power station, where Guardia Civil, police and Red Cross workers were waiting. The boat was carrying 35 people, among which were four women and two children.
This arrival is the latest of several pateras which have taken advantage of the calm autumn weather to make their crossings. 27 boats arrived in October, the last of which was carrying 52 people and was intercepted at sea yesterday.
