Mararía moves

The Mararía women’s association has moved from its cramped old offices on C/ Fajardo to new premises that are more spacious and better-suited to the requirements of privacy and discretion that its work requires.

The women’s association, which provides assistance for victims of gender violence and disadvantaged women and children, will now be based at No 48 Carretera Arrecife-San Bartolomé, a little further up from the hospital and ITV centre, next to the island’s Chamber of Commerce.

Telephone numbers and other contact details will remain unchanged.

Mararía will celebrate its 30th anniversary this year and offered assistance to 5,000 applicants last year.
