After a gloriously warm and sunny Easter weekend, Lanzarote is expected to experience more rain towards the end of the week as another storm forms north of the island.
Forecasts give a high probability of light rains from Thursday until Saturday. However, AEMET’s Canarian director, David Suárez, has said that “at the moment, the storm does not give much cause for concern.”
It will, however, cause waves and AEMET have issued a yellow warning for rough seas from 6 am to midnight on Thursday 9th April. As usual, these will mainly affect the north and west coasts of the island, with waves of between 4 to 5 metres predicted.
