Haría stops swimming at Punta Mujeres after sewage spill

Haría Ayuntamiento have announced the temporary closure of the coastline of Punta Mujeres after another sewage spill.

The coastline will be closed off to swimmers until further notice as Haría Ayutamiento solve the sewage leak issue and water tests come back negative for harmful bacteria.

Mayor of Haría, Alfredo Villalba, demands a review of the water infrastructures in Punta Mujeres to avoid further sewage leaks that pose a health concern to bathers and the image of one of the most visited bathing areas in the north of the island.
