A fourth Covid booster vaccine is expected to arrive approximately this Autumn according to the Spanish Health Minister. The fourth booster was approved this Monday and at first will be for the most vulnerable (ages 80 and over).
The fourth booster was approved this Monday by the Spanish Health Ministry and is expected to be available in Autumn.
Spanish Health Minister, Carolina Darias, stated that dates close to Autumn are being considered as there will be new vaccines adapted to variants that are expected to surface towards the end of the year.
The vaccines have been and always will be optional. As always the most vulnerable groups will have the new dose made available to them first with the fourth dose becoming available to younger age groups later on.
