Fire fighters secure falling debris from building in Arrecife

Fire fighters were called to the Avenida Fred Olsen last night after reports that debris was falling from the apartment building near the bus interchange onto the pavement below.

Upon arrival, the emergency services found rubble on the pavement that had fallen from the building. Local police secured a perimeter as fire fighters ascended to the top of the building via the fire engines lift.

The fire fighters safely removed all loose rubble that was at risk of falling to the pavement below and cleared all debris from the pavement.
