Eight new taxis for Tías

Tias has approved the creation of eight new taxi licences. Two will be for normal cabs and the other six will be for vehicles adapted for persons with reduced mobility.

Tías Mayor José Juan Cruz pointed out that this will bring the percentage of adapted taxis in Tías up to 10.25%, more than twice the 5% minimum limit established by law.

Tías has also announced that the tender for the new ecopark in Los Lirios is open. The €3 million project will be located on Calle Tajinaste, next to the secondary school building.

The 10,500 square metres park will have facilities for futsal and handball, a skateboarding area, calisthenics facilities, gardens, recreational areas, a grandstand and a children’s park, along with a dog park. A car park is also included, along with a bar and public toilets.
