Ed Sheeran will perform in the Canaries for the first time next June, it has been announced.
Sheeran recently published a list of dates for his 2024 Mathematics Tour on his Instagram account, listing Tenerife as one of the places he would be performing, supported by British artist Calum Scott. It is the only Spanish date listed on the tour.
The exact date and venue is listed as “TBA” (to be announced), but local Canarian sources suggest the concert will take place at the Heliodoro Rodríguez López stadium in Santa Cruz de Tenerife on 29th June.
Tickets for the concert are expected to be officially on sale from November 6th.
Sheeran has built up a strong following in Spain over the last ten years, although he has never had a No. 1 hit in the country. His songs Shape of You, Perfect and Thinking Out Loud all peaked at No. 2 on the Spanish charts.
