Last Friday, the Tinajo Ayuntamiento presented the prize vouchers to the winners of their “Descubre Tinajo” photography competition, during the inauguration of the exhibition.

The winning submission, titled “Sunset in La Santa”, is the work of Enrico Lombardo. Second place was awarded to Pedro Borges, with his image “And there I discovered I was not alone.”

All the submitted images will be exhibited at the Casa de la Cultura from 9am to 2pm, and 4pm to 8pm, throughout February and March.

Mayor of Tinajo, Jesús Machín, stated “I would like to thank each one of the participants in this edition, who have allowed us to appreciate the municipality even more and realise the great potential it has for artists to visit us. Congratulations to the winners.”

First place winner, Enrico Lombardo, stated “I have been in Tinajo for a couple years now and I spend my days touring the areas and I am happy to be able to take photographs here. The variety in climate gives us many photographic opportunities.”

Second place winner, Pedro Borges, stated “I like hiking and Tinajo has quite extensive network trails. I like to walk them and see the incredible landscapes it has to offer. That’s what made me decide to participate. The municipality has a lot of potential.”
