Tomorrow’s match between CD Unión Sur Yaiza and UD Lanzarote promises to be a thrilling local derby between two evenly matched teams and is sure to attract a big crowd of supporters from all over the island.
Both sides have almost identical records at this point of the season and are tied on points and goal difference in third and fourth place of Group 12 of Spain’s third division.
The match will kick off at 5.30 pm on Saturday 20th at the Municipal Stadium in Yaiza, overlooked by ancient volcanoes. Only one entrance to the ground will be opened, with three ticket sales points operating from 4 pm onwards. Glass and plastic bottles, cans and metal objects will be confiscated by security staff.
