Delivery driver arrested for stealing products

A 49-year-old delivery driver was arrested by Guardia Civil this month after stealing products from delivery jobs and later selling them.

An investigation was opened following a complaint issued by the owners of the company that the 49-year-old was delivering for, stating their suspicion that products were being stolen. The stolen items were mostly various meats.

According to the police report, the 49-year-old was allegedly taking products from the delivery truck and selling it to other establishments, keeping the profit. With this the Guardia Civil began inspecting documentation and invoices for the products and found discrepancies.

On March 6^th, after verifying the facts, the 49-year-old was placed under arrest.
