Guardia Civil have identified a motorist who was filmed driving at high speed towards Arrecife on the wrong side of the road.
The incident took place at 10pm on the 8th January, when another motorist driving towards Arrecife in the correct, right-hand lane filmed a driver in the other lane.
This video, and footage from security cameras, helped the Guardia Civil to identify the vehicle, and a 33-year-old man has since been arrested and is being investigated on charges of dangerous driving.
