Teguise Ayuntamiento will shortly begin to install new public lighting in Costa Teguise, in a project costing €161,000.
Mayor Oswaldo Betancort and public works councillor Olivia Duque announced the project yesterday.
The first stage will be the replacement of existing street lights with low-consumption LED lights, and this will be carried out on the Avenida Islas Canarias and Calle Las Olas.
The next phase will be a complete renovation of the Avenida Cocederos – the seafront promenade that stretches from the royal palace of La Mareta to the jetty at Playa Cucharas. New lights will be installed that will improve lighting at Playa Bastian and Playa El Jablillo.
