Students at the Colegio Hispano Británico in Puerto del Carmen have smashed previous records once again in the annual GCSE results.

Anny Weng and Lara Matuk were among this year’s star pupils, both girls sat 17 GCSEs, and have passed them all with flying colours. Anny received an A* grade in 15 of her assignments, while Lara also earned grades ranging from A* to C.

The Colegio Hispano Británico was founded in 1976. It is the only accredited overseas British curriculum school (BSO) on Lanzarote.
